There is no tomorrow…

I love this line from the Rocky movie. I feel just the way Rocky did at that very moment. He had the makings of a winner. Everyone believed he could win but him……sound familiar?

So what have you been putting off? Have you made a promise that you have not fulfilled yet? I know I have made a promise to myself ,and have a hard time keeping it. I have been delaying my plans. I have great plans. I mean that I believe in them and they stem from my heart. For some reason I keep on holding back to the what ifs. The point is my lack of confidence. This is an area that I need much work in.  I know I have great ideas but they are just that great ideas. I need to execute. I will begin just that this summer. My launch is set for this coming holiday season.

The fact is there is no tomorrow because it may never come. The point is to live and love.  Love your job, your family, your children, the warm sun, take a beautiful walk and ask yourself  the question.  Just who do I want to be. Am I that person. If not what is holding me back. If nothing is holding you back then how can you turn great into greater?

Thanks for reading.

What do you think?

Is it better to strengthen your strengths or focus on your weaknesses?  Should you look for new ways to do things or strengthen what already works? I mean what really allows us the notion of success.  I have always believed that you must focus on your weaknesses and turn them in to strengths. For example I am reading this book.  The book is called Strengths Finder 2.0.     An athlete  can practice and practice but hey chances are there will only be so many Kobe Bryant’s.  Who knows maybe the athlete is not so bad at dribbling the ball but maybe his true strengths will lead him to be the next Bill Gates or who knows.

The point is I have an idea of what my strengths are and my weaknesses too.  I think I have dwelled too much on the weaknesses and not enough on the positive aspects of me. My goal this summer is to persue my business goal. I pledge to myself to find out my true  strengths and understand my weaknesses.  I believe that its important to strengthen your strengths. Beethoven was a genius composer .   He is forever remembered because he perfected his perfection.  I will be recording my progress every week.  Have something to say?

Business Description

What do you think of my business idea?  Any thoughts would be great.

Dicha will create gift baskets that build connections through fun, tantalizing foods and inviting conversations.  Dicha means joy in Spanish. It will be my joy to create gifts that inspire fun, joy and most of all connections that will last a lifetime. Each gift basket or gift package will include a table topics cube filled with conversation starter questions.  Table topics come in themes of  family, not your momma’s dinner party and so on.  The table topics will come complete in a tray filled with tantalizing gourmet snacks and candy. These gift arrangements will  bring an entertainment experience along with a unique gift.  Dicha will extend the gift experience by giving clients the opportunity to share their experience, host web topic questions online, offer a selection of dicha gifts that are for any occasions. One for example is a vanishing creatures chocolate.   This chocolate comes in the shape of an animal inside a beautiful box. The box can then be converted into a candle. Some proceeds of this gift go toward the conservation of endangered specifies.  Dicha will also expand the business by featured surprise occasions for one person and  catered parties.  My slogan will be unforgettable gifts that inspire joy.
